My husband & I stayed at WPP #18 for a week in June with our two young children & really enjoyed it. The place was very clean, spacious, convenient, & comfortable. It was decorated very nicely and felt modern; not at all run-down like many other properties in the area. It really did feel like home with a fully-operational kitchen, dining area, TV/living area, separate bedroom & bath for our toddler, large master suite & bath upstairs for my husband & I that could easily accomodate our infant's pack & play. In fact, we easily could have put the crib in the large walk-in closet to give the baby his own space. Our only complaint was a lack of hot water for showering & using the jacuzzi tub. A plummer came out during our stay & was able to crank up the water heater, which helped with showers, but there was still not enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi. Disappointing, but not enough to put a damper on our experience. While in the area, we toured a suite at the Vintage Hotel nearby for comparison purposes. Wow were we glad we'd chosen WPP! The Vintage was very old, run-down, & just icky feeling, not to mention more expensive. I'm sure it would be convenient for those there to ski, but I'm the type who considers ambiance very important & I'm sure I enjoyed my trip much more because of the nice accomodations at WPP.
Manager's Response:
thanks for the great review! Yes, the water tank can't handle filling the jacuzzi along with multiple showers at the same time so you have to keep them separate. Only solution is to soak in the common area hot tub while the other folks shower. Hope to have you back soon!
